Ways to Reach Your Water Intake

Avoiding dehydration is extremely important. Dehydration happens when your body isn’t getting enough fluids. Signs of dehydration include decreased energy, fatigue, headaches, and an upset stomach. One of the most accurate signs is the color and volume of your urine.

To stay hydrated, men should consume 100 ounces of water daily, and women should drink 70 ounces daily. These guidelines are based on average activity levels and should increase with more physical activity.

There are a few tricks to stay consistent with your water intake. It is wise to schedule times in which you will drink water. Drink a glass of water when you first wake up and an hour before you go to bed. Try to avoid sugary drinks, soda, and alcohol.

Eating fruits and veggies high in water content, such as watermelon, pineapple, and cucumber, is also a good idea. It is essential to drink fluids before you are thirsty.

The most important thing is to consume quality water.

Here at Aquafeel Maryland, we can provide you and your family with safe, quality drinking water throughout your home.
