Sometimes, we drink water left overnight in a bottle or cup. These can either be on your nightstand or in your car. But how safe is this?
Water left in bottles for a while is not safe to drink. When we put our mouths on the top of a bottle, the dead skin, sweat, and dust covering our skin get back washed into the water. If this rests for a while, the bacteria will grow. These bacteria will be ingested when you drink the water. This will cause numerous health-related issues
Water in the car heats up due to sun rays. Bottles made of BPA or another chemical can even leach chemicals in the water that can harm your health. If you are going to leave water out, make sure it is covered. There is no harm in drinking water that is left overnight if it is stored properly.
Try to avoid putting your mouth to the bottle and if you do, try to drink it in one go. Your health is what is most important.
